Chanoyu

Cha-no-yu (lit. "tea's hot water") also called chadō or sadō ("way of tea") or "tea ceremony". A highly structured method of preparing powdered green tea (maccha) in the company of guests.
It incorporates the preparation and service of food as well as the study and utilization of architecture, gardening, ceramics, calligraphy, history, and religion. It is the culmination of a union of artistic creativity, sensitivity to nature, religious thought, and social interchange.
